From Olden Times

Was part of a group of women from a small isolated village in the East called the Tamatamako or Tamatoto

These women would wear beads in the shape of faces in their hair

These beads were rumored to be hollow and filled with sand or bells, as low noises could be heard from them

Masako herself was the daughter of a rice farmer whose business boomed around the time she reached adulthood

Her father however shortly after passed away along with Masako’s brothers and much of the village due to an outbreak of disease

Masako survived this though and succeeded her father in upholding the farm, becoming quite wealthy

She was later executed by higher authorities
